As you may know by now, One Love Animal Rescue has become very active in the transport scene! We have made some amazing partnerships with rescues throughout the country, and, with the help of our amazing volunteers, have saved hundreds of lives.
One very key partnership in all of this is a local boarding facility, Shady Pines (located in Savannah, GA). They have been amazingly generous in donating kennel space for our transport dogs to rid our their mandatory quarantine period before being eligible for transport. Without them, none of this would be possible.
As you can imagine, with hundreds of dog coming in and out, they go through A TON of blankets! This is where we need your help. They are almost out and in desperate need of more. Do you have any old blankets or towels hanging around that you don’t know what to do with? Donated them!! They don’t have to be brand new (although if you feel like getting some of those, that would be awesome too). Gently used or even warn is better than nothing and after what our shelter pups have been through, we really want them to have something comfortable to rest on.
Donations can be dropped off directly at Shady Pines, which is located at 1607 Grove Point Road, Savannah, GA 31419. If you cannot make it directly to Shady Pines for drop off, please contact us and we can arrange an alternate drop off spot.
