OPERATION PET SOLUTIONS
A grassroots community outreach program designed to keep pets in their homes and engage pet owners in proper care, vetting, and sterilization of their pets.
As many of the rescues in the area understand, we cannot adopt or transport our way out of the current overpopulation crisis. Therefore, One Love has created a new program called OLAR Operation Pet Solutions (OPS).
At the end of 2019, One Love launched Operation Pet Solutions (OPS). Utilizing the Humane Society of the United State’s Pets for Life model, OPS is a grassroots community outreach program designed to keep pets in their homes and engage pet owners in proper care, vetting and sterilization of their pets. The program offers free and discounted services and supplies. Services include vouchers for spays and neuters, while supplies can range from pet food to fence repair. Dedicated volunteers work with pet parents to make sure they receive the help they need, with the goal of reducing the number of pets surrendered by preventing unwanted litters and educating and supporting pet owners.

Community Spay and Neuter Program
The primary goal of OPS is to reduce the number of pets surrendered by preventing unwanted litters and educating and supporting pet owners. To help achieve this goal, OPS can provide subsidized, no-cost and discounted spays and neuters to those in need throughout our community.
To request spay/neuter assistance, please complete our online application. Once reviewed, an OPS volunteer will contact you to schedule services and coordinate transportation assistance, as needed.
Additional vaccines, heartworm, and Felv/FIV testing, microchipping, nail trims, preventative, and other services can be offered at discounted rates from the clinics.

Food Pantry & Basic Supplies
Sometimes, the going can be tough and providing basic supplies for our furry family can be challenging. OPS’s Food Pantry can help support our community in need by assisting with basic supplies including:
- pet food
- dog houses
- cat houses
- leash, collar, and harness
- kennels
- pet carriers

Join The Cause
Join our awesome team and make a big difference in the community! There are several ways that you can make a difference by volunteering with OPS. These are just a few of them:
Street Team
Volunteer to join our street team that will pass out info on OPS in the areas that need us most. Grab some friends and you could do a block, a street, or a whole neighborhood.
Transport Volunteer
Volunteer to transport a dog or cat to or from the clinic if the owner doesn’t have transportation. Maybe you are only available to do so one day a week or a month, that will help!
