This Guy, Yes this guy named Zeppy has completed his 8 week training course to help him with his reactivity while on walks and I am so proud of him! We ended training today with a walk through Daffin Park passing dogs, people, bike riders…All without any discomfort! NOW….since this fella has sadly been living in a boarding facility for 2.5 months, its time to come together Savannah and let’s find him a foster or forever home. DOESN’T HE DESERVE IT? WE CERTAINLY THINK SO!
Zeppy is a about 45-50lbs, cattle dog who is extremely smart and ready to learn. He does get a bit excited so we have been counter conditioning. He is house and crate trained. He does do well with another dog as long as properly introduced and it helps if the dog is a little more laid back as he does well having a good role model. He would also be good being the only dog as he is a ham for attention. He does need a confident leader who will continue his training. I have personally been his handler for the last 8 weeks and I am so very proud of him. We have our outings every Monday, driving around doing errands (he does great in the car!), having dinner together and running and playing. Zeppy knows sit, down, and shake. He enjoys training games like “find it” and would do great learning others that work his brain. He needs a yard to run and play and he does LOVE a good roll in the grass! Is Zeppy the right fit for you? Would you welcome him into your home while he searches for his forever home?
