We are always so happy to receive HAPPY TAILS from our adopted OLAR cats and dogs! We love to share our happiness with you our reader and support so here are a few of the most recently one year alumni OLAR animals and a few more recent. This weeks updates are for Jeter, Theo, Winnie (Dottie) and Fallon (Hilo) Happy reading.
ONE YEAR ALUMNI (its been one year since their adoption) Jeter
“Wow a year has flown by! Jeter is doing fantastic; he’s still as silly and playful and as sweet as ever! We moved to Chattanooga in December, and Jeter is loving Tennessee (so many squirrels to chase and creeks to play in, but so little time!). He’s the best thing that’s ever happened to us and we wouldn’t trade him for the world! “
ONE YEAR ALUMNI Theo
“Theo is doing great and we absolutely love him! He’s very smart and picks up new commands easily. Our next task will be teaching him to jog with me because at the moment his only speeds are walking and sprinting. He loves food, hiking, food, swimming, food, and going to Daffin dog park. Attached is a happy, muddy ride home from the park”
ONE YEAR ALUMNI- Winnie fka Dotty
“Dotty is doing great and we are so happy we adopted her from One Love a year ago! She loves playing with her brother, going for walks around the neighborhood, cuddling and swimming. She recently graduated from obedience school with Claudia. Winnie is a great traveler and an amazing guard dog. She has a huge personality and we cannot imagine life without her now! I have attached some recent photos of her (Winnie on the right).”‘
6 Month Update: Fallon (AKA Hilo)
“We have had our sweet Fallon (previously Hilo) for a little over 6 months, and he as genuinely completed our little family. Since coming home he has graduated from basic obedience class and can sit, stay, lay down, wait, roll over and shake hands, and we are so proud of how much he’s learned! He is definitely our little cuddle bug and momma’s boy, totally willing to lay on your lap and keep you company all day. He absolutely hates when mom has to go to work, but loves that dad works at home and plays with him all day long. He loves playing with any toy he can get his hands on, but his all time favorites are still his laser pointer (we’re convinced he thinks he’s a cat!) and anything that crinkles. He takes trips to a local baseball field where he is learning to play frisbee loves to run to his hearts content. We genuinely could not imagine our lives without him, and are thankful every day to have him running to the door to greet us when we come home. We cannot thank One Love and Fallon’s foster family enough for taking care of our sweet boy before he got to us!”
