Hello, my name is Harmony Lexi Lou Dog.
I am one of the dog for adoption with One Love Animal Rescue.
I’ve been through a lot for my age already that has caused me to almost lose my trust to humans but I so very much want this to change.
I am still a little insecure, scared and nervous around new people. When my foster dad came to Auntie Karrie’s to pick me up, it was terrifying. I know he was trying to be so nice to me to open up for him but, I was just not ready yet for the new foster family just yet.
Well now that I have been at The Yamada’s for a few months, I am slowly adjusting myself to be around some other dogs, living with cats and new humans. I am not 100% for sure yet what is meant for me in life, but I am trying to figure that out day by day. I am learning new tricks, learning to be a carefree dog and going on adventures. I must say, sometimes I have a really good time!
My tails wags more than hides now a days and I think that’s because I know that I am loved. I still hide in my shell off and on but less and less each week. Now I have a foster sister to love and hang out with, my life is becoming quite fun. I now think I have what I keep hearing is a BFF!
I really don’t mind these cats too. They are so laid back most of time around the house.
I am enjoying running out back, digging in my spot, hiding things and rediscovering them with my BFF.
One of my favorite things to do is stretch out on my foster mom and dad’s bed to show my tummy that my foster dad calls “play dead” and this means I get a nice belly rub! I love sleep in between my foster mom and dad with Bobbi every night.
I feel safe and secure in a home so this is why I have decided to give you a little letter about me instead of going to all those adoption events.
I think I am a perfect candidate for someone who is looking for a soulmate, a partner to hang out with and someone to share a nice quiet life with. I am very committed to my family once they show me they love me. I promise to be the most devoted friend anyone could ask for.
I am house trained, leash trained and have attended puppy training classes which I felt I really don’t need much to learn since I am already pretty cool, well-behaved and relaxed.
