Operation Pet Solutions, a program by One Love Animal Rescue

A grassroots community outreach program designed to keep pets in their homes and engage pet owners in proper care, vetting, and sterilization of their pets.

Utilizing the Humane Society of the United State’s Pets for Life model, One Love Animal Rescue’s Operation Pet Solutions (OPS) is a grassroots community outreach program designed to keep pets in their homes and engage pet owners in proper care, vetting and sterilization of their pets by offering free services including essential vaccines, spay/neuter vouchers, and basics such as leashes and collars of owned pets. All we ask is that the owner pays $8 for pain meds per animal. The goal is to reduce the number of pets surrendered by giving pet owners the resources they need to keep their pets and by preventing unwanted litters.

We have done our research.  We have organized our team and we will be targeting neighborhoods one by one, starting with those most in need.  Once restrictions have been lifted with COVID-19, we hope to have our door to door team be more hands on in the community.

  • Additional vaccines, heartworm and Felv/FIV testing, microchipping, nail trims, preventatives and other services will be offered at discounted rates from the clinics. Transport can be provided as needed.
  • We are starting with area code 31404.  If you live within 31404 and have personal pets that need to be altered and a rabies vaccine, please reach out to us at: operationpetsolutions@oneloveanimalrescue.com
  • If you would like to sponsor a spay/neuter or sponsor a family in need, please contact us.

Made Possible By The Community

It was with the generous donation and support from the For the Love of Paws, Savannah which allowed us to jump-start our program. We hope that with our success of the program, we will then be able to collect donations and support as well as grant writing to keep our program funded.

Interested in joining the cause? Great, let’s work together to make our community the best it can be for the citizens and their furry friends. Fill out our volunteer application to get started.
