Jacob G. Smith Elementary, Brighter Day, TailsSpin, and Whole Foods Market Teaming to Donate 10,000 Meals to Pet Rescue Agencies from Halo-Purely for Pets
Savannah, Georgia (November 3, 2014) – Ellen DeGeneres’ natural pet food company, Halo-Purely for Pets, will make the holidays brighter for homeless dogs and cats across the nation. During the 2014 Holiday Kibble Drop “Inspire Tour,” Halo will deliver 10,000 meals to pets in need in Savannah, GA. The Kibble Drop trucks will make a combined 12 stops throughout the country this holiday season.
As Halo retail partners, Brighter Day Natural Foods, TailsSpin Pet Supply, and Whole Foods Market Savannah, along with the students of Jacob G. Smith Elementary, will be teaming up to present the kibbles to Savannah Pet Rescue Alliance, which consists of local rescue agencies, such as the Coastal Pet Rescue, Dachshund Rescue, Education, Awareness & Mentoring (DREAM), Humane Society of Greater Savannah, One Love Animal Rescue, and Save-A-Life Animal Rescue.
On Friday, November 14th, 2014, at 1:00pm, at the Jacob G. Smith Elementary on 210 Lamara Drive, Savannah, GA 31405, local pet rescue agencies are scheduled to gather to receive the kibble donation. This will be a part of the school’s Spirit Day. Pizzas, fruit, and beverages will be served.
