DESCRIPTION:Join us at Daffin Park (Washington & Waters Entrance) for free core pet vaccinations and microchips for owned pets (no feral cats and no rescue groups) and pet parents in need. \nNo appointment necessary but supplies are limited to the first 75 pets and you must be in line by 1:00PM. 2 pets per household limit.\nVouchers for low-cost spay and neuter services\, and pet food will also be available. \nAll dogs must be on a leash and all cats must be in separate carriers. Leashes and limited carriers will be available on-site for those in need. Aggressive pets cannot be managed in the mobile setting. \nVaccine List: \n\nRabies for cats and dogs\nDHPP for dogs\nFVCRP for cats\n\nThis event is made possible by a grant from the ASPCA & Subaru Loves Pets Grant Program.

If you follow Savannah True History Tours on social media\, you’ve probably noticed their mascot\, Max the dog. Max is a rescue! \nThis tour will be an abbreviated version of their popular Dark History Tour. You’ve heard all the ghost stories – Now hear the truth! You’ll learn about Colonial Park Cemetery\, tragic visits of famous people\, the bloody Revolutionary Siege of Savannah\, and much more. We’ll cover just over 1/2 mile at a very leisurely pace. Your guide will be a former National Park Service Ranger\, so you know this tour is well-researched. The best part of all: Adoptable dogs from One Love will be tagging along! They may just even decide to wear costumes that day. \nMax the mascot kindly requests a minimum donation of $15 per adult for this tour with 100% of donations and tips going back to his buddies at One Love. If you adopt a dog you meet on the tour\, Savannah True History Tours will even throw in a free tour in the future for you and your family or friends. \nCome get some exercise\, learn everything there is to know about our beautiful city’s dark side\, and support your local pet rescue shelter.
